Frequently Asked Questions

  • Tiny Hands Social Club is a sensory play experience designed for young children and their caregivers. Each event features thoughtfully curated sensory bins, hands-on activities, and opportunities for little ones to explore, create, and connect through play.

  • Nope! Tiny Hands Social Club is intentionally unstructured. We believe children learn best through open-ended exploration, sensory experiences, and play. Think less "class" and more "beautifully prepared invitation to play."

  • Our activities are designed primarily for children ages 18 months to 5 years old. Younger siblings are welcome with close adult supervision.

  • Yes. Each participating child must be registered in advance so we can prepare enough materials and maintain a comfortable event size.

  • Yes. Tiny Hands Social Club is not a drop-off program. A parent, guardian, or caregiver must remain with their child for the duration of the event.

  • Play clothes are encouraged! Sensory play can be messy, and while we strive to use washable materials whenever possible, we recommend dressing children in clothing that can handle a little extra fun.

  • We carefully select age-appropriate materials for our activities. However, some sensory bins may contain small items that could present a choking hazard for young children. Caregivers are responsible for supervising their children at all times and determining whether an activity is appropriate for their child.

  • Many young children explore through tasting and mouthing. Because some activities may include small materials, caregivers should remain actively engaged and supervise their child closely throughout the event. At the conclusion of each event, all items are cleaned and sanitized with special focus on items placed in the “I Got Wet” bin!

  • Outdoor events may be postponed, relocated, or canceled due to inclement weather. Registered families will be notified as early as possible using the contact information provided during registration.

  • Due to the preparation involved for each event, registrations are generally non-refundable. If an event is canceled by Tiny Hands Social Club due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, families will receive information about credits, transfers, or rescheduling options.

  • Absolutely! Each child who will be participating in activities should be registered separately. Infants who will remain in a stroller, carrier, or caregiver's arms do not need their own registration.

  • Water bottles are always a great idea! We ask that snacks be eaten before or after our session so we don’t expose our tiniest hands to potential allergens.

  • We may take photos and videos during events for marketing and social media purposes. Families will have the opportunity to review and acknowledge our photo release policy during registration. Should you have preferences or questions, please feel free to ask our team if a particular event may be “photo free". Once per month we will host offline events that are never photographed or videoed.

  • Absolutely. There's no pressure to participate in every activity. Children are welcome to explore at their own pace, observe, and join in when they're ready.
